About Me

Hello!  Here is a little info about me...

My medical career began in pharmacy with a wonderful education at the University of Toledo.  During this time, I looked into medicine - I absolutely loved the philosophy of Osteopathic Medicine and I was chosen to enroll at Ohio University.

While there, I met my eventual wife, Christine.  I must say, we've had quite the adventure going through medical school and internal medicine residence.  This has been an asset, as we understand each other's weird work hours and call schedule.

​

I dragged her to do my fellowship in pulmonary & critical care medicine.  Unfortunately it was in Michigan - I was in and out as fast as possible.  I refused to have a Michigan baby, so that is why there are 4 years between our children.

​​

We had the luxury of working side by side for 4 years in private practice.  A highlight during that time was being honored as Fellows of the ACOI in 2015. We returned to the Sandusky area in 2017.  She is currently the assistant medical director for the Ohio Veterans Home.

I also have the most awesome medical assistant anywhere, Riley!  I would not be able to do my job without her.
